Trump challenged over ties to mob-linked gambler with ugly past

Source: Yahoo News Live

The daughter of a reputed New Jersey mob figure says her late father had a longtime relationship with Donald Trump that included gambling millions of dollars at one of his casinos, flying on his helicopter and partying aboard his private yacht.

In 1991, Trump first faced questions about his dealings with Robert LiButti, a plump, balding and nationally famous horse breeder with an explosive temper who would later be banned from New Jersey casinos for his ties to Mafia boss John Gotti. At the time, New Jersey state regulators had launched an investigation into allegations by nine employees of one of Trump’s Atlantic City casinos, the Trump Plaza, that the hotel had repeatedly removed African-Americans and women from craps tables after LiButti, one of the highest-rolling gamblers in the city’s history, loudly complained about their presence when he was playing.

He was reportedly flying in someone's private plane who wasn't the most upstanding of characters.

guy. This guy was a racist and Trump's casino enabled him because he was a high roller. Sorry but "Bill Clinton did it also" doesn't cut it in this instance.

Also Trump says he doesn't know the guy, the guy's daughter says otherwise - she is pissed that Trump is disavowing her father, who she claims was close to Trump.

So the decision to use or not use should be on the relevance, not on what Republicans might do or not do. Trump's claim to being qualified for President is based on his acumen as a businessman. So his business practices are relevant.

I knew this stuff would have to come out sooner or later. I was hoping it was going to be after he locked up the nomination.

Drumpf has many me thinks. How about the use of Chinese Visas for investment in his so called Real Estate Ventures. Buy your way into the USA via 500k investment in a Trump tower.

The man owns casinos and does real estate business in New Jersey. I'd have to wonder if he didn't have mob ties. It would be better if it came out after he was the nominee. I'd rather have Trump than Cruz in the ticket for a variety of reasons.

It's not Hillary who will be indicted before the election it's Trump, I bet the DOJ is sitting on several 'surprises' that will hand the election to Hillary if she faces Trump.
