Donald Trump Says His Supporters Should 'Hit Back' At Protesters More Often
Source: Huffington Post
Donald Trump isn't going to put a stop to his violent supporters. In fact, he wants to see more.
In a press conference Friday morning in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump defended attendees at his events who go after anyone who seems different. He claimed that the protesters are the ones who are violent, and they deserve to be taken out.
"It was a guy who was swinging -- was very loud -- and then started swinging at the audience. And you know what? It swung back," Trump said.
"And I thought it was very, very appropriate," he added. "He was swinging. He was hitting people. And the audience hit back. And that's what we need a little bit more of. Now, I'm not talking about just a protestor. This was a guy who should not have been allowed to do what he did. And frankly, if you want to know the truth, the police were very, very restrained."
It's not exactly clear which violent incident Trump was referring to. (There have been so many.) But video surfaced Thursday of a Trump supporter sucker-punching an African-American man, Rakeem Jones, who was being escorted out of a rally by police. The cops then piled upon Jones.

(10,704 posts)Drumpf invents reality. Everything he says is unanchored from the truth.
Sometimes his word salad lies glance at an emotional reality. And that "resonates" with some voters.
He never gets called on the facts. A Dem candidate - (Hillary is never even allowed to make a human mistake)- is never allowed that freedom and leeway.

(613 posts)Sounds like incitement of violence based on political belief, colour and religion. As I understand it, under International Convention, and some state laws, that is illegal.
He should be arrested.

(15,882 posts)and morgues in the modern era? Bill Clinton or, if tragedy befalls us all, Wankpuffin?
Clinton lied and obfuscated to bring tragedy to so many, though the worst was how he gave us all permission to think of black folks as different, less than us, easier then to punish when they displease us. A continuation of the Reagan years. This is an ongoing tragedy for all of us.
Trump is just that personified. The more honest version.
Clinton had a hell of a head start, but this the real estate swindler is obviously dangerous out of the gate.
I think, if I had my druthers, I would rather live next to most anyone rather than nearly any presidential candidate. Something appears to have started rotting in that barrel.
