'Ruin the rest of their lives': Donald Trump calls for arrests after wave of protests at rally

Source: sfgate

After a string of separate protests, Trump started asking his event security what happens to hecklers after they're ejected.
"By the way, what do they do? Do they arrest these people? What happens? Do they arrest them or do they just put them outside?" he asked.
Trump decided he very much wanted see the protesters, some of whom he claimed were violent, have a criminal record:

'
I hope they arrest these people because they're really violating all of us, OK? And I hope they're arrested. I hope they're arrested, because honestly they should be. ... I hope you arrest these people because I'll tell you, they deserve to be arrested. And some of them are very violent. But I'm going to ask that you arrest them. I'll file whatever charges you want. Who the hell knows.

"We're going to go strongly for your arrest," he said. "And I'm going to do this from now on. Let's ruin the rest of — they're going to ruin the rest of their lives. If they want to do this, let them have a big arrest mark."

After yet another heckler interrupted his rally Saturday night, Trump again called for lives to be "ruined":

I hope these guys get thrown into a jail. They'll never do it again. It'll destroy their record. They'll have to explain to mom and dad why they have a police record and why they can't get a job. And you know what? I'm going to start pressing charges against all these people, OK? ... The only way that we're going to stop this craziness is if we press charges. Because then their lives are going to be ruined.

I think the US Department of Justice and FEC are not without
planning for such contingencies.

A stolen election had the taint of illegitimacy.

One seized by threats of violence would leave no doubt.

It would be another effort to overturn the Constitution, much
like Senators refusing to do their jobs.

It's certainly not clear the two parties would cooperate to resolve
election chaos, but I also doubt the Supreme Court would install
a dictator.

he would have no moral qualms about something like this. only would be concerned about whether it would work. but imagine he is behind but it's close enough that winning ohio, florida and michigan would tip it. He would drop some hints. Some Ted Nugent types would start saying they should show up to "keep an eye" on things and intimidate voters while not quite crossing the legal line unless something blows up. trump all along would not disavow and would deny responsibility -- and maybe they couldn't nail him with anything.

Republicans know that a Trump nomination means a general election loss. That's why they are in full panic mode. As for the American people, the elected a black man twice as President. The racist forces were too few in number. Trump is the exact inverse of Obama. The American people will roundly reject the fool. This is why the GOP is gaining more voters than the Dems. They are also pulling in undecideds. I have no faith in the American people, they voted in the dire situation we have, and they'll keep voting it in. A Trump-Hilary match up favors Trump, and all indication is this is what we are going to have. The progressive revolution led by Sanders is going to start in a much deeper hole than we have now.

but he started the Republican party being radical back when Obama was sworn in. McConnell attack Obama with many hated messages, now McConnell and the Republicans are paying for the extreme thugs they have drawn to the Republican party. It is close to a terrorist party now, if you listen to the GOP candidates.
What path will American select this nation to take in November. I hope the intelligent and smart voters can overcome the thugs and radicals that will vote for Republicans.

I'd go so far as to say they don't even like America.

They are a different breed that needs to fade away into the darkness.

Really what's next with this sociopath? Now he wants protesters marked with an arrest record for the rest of their lives. I couldn't help but make the connection to Jews being marked.

That's what you'll get with President Trump.
