American Couple Confirmed Dead In Brussels Attacks

Source: Huffington Post

By Dan Whitcomb

LOS ANGELES, March 26 (Reuters) - An American husband and wife missing since the suicide bombings in Brussels have been confirmed to have died in the attacks, according to family members and their employers.

Justin and Stephanie Shults, Belgium residents originally from Tennessee and Kentucky, were last seen dropping off her mother at the Brussels airport shortly before the check-in area was rocked by a powerful explosion on Tuesday, one of three blasts that took at least 31 lives.

“Today we learned from Stephanie Shults’ family that she and her husband, Justin, were among those killed in the attack on the Brussels airport,” Mars Inc, Stephanie Shults’ employer, said on its Facebook page.

“We are mourning the loss of our colleague and friend. Our hearts and thoughts are with their families, and with all those who are suffering during this terrible time,” the company said.

Justin Shults’ brother, Levi Sutton, remembered the slain man in a post on Twitter.

“He was smart and kind and generous. I never met a single person who didn’t like him. He worked hard his whole life and achieved goals that most could only dream about,” Sutton said in the post.

People are getting killed every day as result of the destabilization we unleashed. Hardly a word until there's a white/western victim.

We target them for going to weddings, funerals, and hospitals.

Those people have (had) lives. They were PEOPLE.

You could cut and paste the last half of my subject line and have a good afternoons worth of reading.

Are you REALLY unaware about funeral and wedding drone strikes?

In that case, all is cool and forgiven.

(And that assumes it's an effective blow-back free long-term strategy.)

All I could find was this:

Currently Belgium has around 550 troops stationed in Afghanistan, mainly in Kabul, Kunduz and Kandahar airport.

I am very sorry for those two young people, but well over a million civilians have died in Iraq because of US actions, and millions of people have had their lives turned into disasters, from a stable prosperous country to an ISIS hellhole, because of US action against Libya. Of course, there is also immense suffering among the Palestinians which is aided and abetted by the US support of Israeli ethnic cleansing.

Seeing the details of those things in the news is as rare as hens' teeth. Some of it shows up in the international press, but not much even there.

I know that we have refused to join the civilized world in banning cluster bombs. (HRC is OK with "bombies".)

I think we make and supply them to our client states.

But I think you are aware of the death and destruction we have laid on the region.

There are are a number of presidential candidates ready-made to make and keep the violence going there. Please don't vote for any of them.

Florida the votes were so very close, if only a couple more thousand got off their asses and voted...would be a better world today.

Those were the days where Murdocks go to man for 'hacking voicemail' lived lavishly in florida, best buddie of the RWingers.

Eventually they were. A group of news papers bought the ballots! afterward and counted them. They reported the result very early on the morning of 9/11/2001.

Drone strikes are playing a huge role in the hatred these people have for the west. Let's stand behind the drone war whistleblowers! http://helpmebro.com/posts/krvYCnDbtv
