Hispanic Official to Leave R.N.C. in Sign of Disaffection With Donald Trump

The head of Hispanic media relations at the Republican National Committee is resigning this month in what appears to be another indication of the lingering discomfort some party officials have about working to elect Donald J. Trump president.
Ruth Guerra, who is of Mexican descent and was in charge of carrying the partys message to Hispanic voters, is joining the American Action Network, a Republican-aligned super PAC, she confirmed in a brief interview on Wednesday.

(21,719 posts)That is blatant bigotry. Would he call out a judge as Irish or Swiss? Hell no he wouldn't.
What possible reason could he have for calling the judge a Mexican (incidentally, the judge was born in Indiana, USA)? There is only one explanation, and everybody knows it.
It is to fan the flames of ethnic bigotry and paint himself, Super Billionaire Donald Trump, as being somehow the victim of bigotry.
I am not surprised Ms. Guerra is "uncomfortable" working for Trump.
I am surprised that any American is "comfortable" supporting this wingnut.
