McConnell on Trump Judge Comments: 'I Couldn't Disagree More'

Source: NBC

On "Meet the Press," Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., was supportive of Donald Trump, but was careful not to be too supportive of some of presumptive nominees more incendiary comments.

The Senate majority leader told Chuck Todd he "couldn't disagree more" with Trump's recent attacks on the Hispanic judge presiding over the Trump University lawsuit. Trump has said Judge Gonzalo Curiel's Mexican heritage is an "absolute conflict" and has called for his recusal from the case.

McConnell distanced himself from Trump's comments, but dodged three times when asked if they were racist.

* * *

In response to conservative writer Erick Erickson's recent comments condemning Trump's comments about Judge Curiel as "racist", McConnell replied, "I think the party of Lincoln wants to win the White House. The right-of-center world needs to respect the fact that the primary voters have spoken."

File this under a broken clock is right twice a day. Of course, McConnell could not bring himself to admit that Trump's comments were clearly racist. This is a fact that even many right wingers admit.

better than D. Trump. I certainly don't think so. McConnell who said back in early 2008 after Obama was sworn into office he would defeat him. Well McConnell is getting is way in some respect, but he and his party will suffer in November. They seem to think that nothing applies to them, no laws or trash talks, but the voters will determine that.
What I find amazing is the support that Trump is getting from ignorant white women.
But the Republicans don't any policies that makes America better then what Pres. Obama has done in recovering the G. Bush ambush of America, killing jobs and trying to destroy the economy.

He is a racist fascist and any person that supports or votes for him support racism and fascism.

When I say fascism I mean the marriage of the Corporations and the rich with the government which is now happening in the US and around the world.

The Turtle man will continue to justify his supporting the worst candidate that any major party has EVER thrown out there because...he's not HRC...they are so pathetic and so wrong at every step. Mitch McConnell is the one who should be on trial for treason for backing the agenda the scumbag party all mapped out on BHO's inauguration day
