Clinton to unleash TV hell on Trump

Source: Politico

Hillary Clinton is opening her wallet and seizing the moment.

Just hours after the votes were cast in the final Democratic primary, the Clinton campaign started reserving advertising blocks in eight battleground states on Wednesday, marking the presumptive Democratic nominee’s first significant attempt to define Donald Trump.

Clinton’s camp has already released one of the spots, which offers a harsh contrast between Trump — encouraging violence at his rallies and mocking a reporter’s disabilities — and the former secretary of state. Other spots are expected to be softer focus, positive ads about Clinton.

By reserving time in key swing states — at least Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia — the Clinton camp is sending an unmistakable message to the presumptive GOP nominee that it intends to press into traditionally Republican territory without spending too much time worrying about defending traditionally Democratic destinations where Trump insists he will compete, said a handful of high-level Democrats close to the Clinton effort.

tRump's mouth is shooting his foot with a machine gun. Hillary should keep out of the way and let him implode before the convention.

Unless ...

... she can push a few of his buttons, get under his skin, and make him froth like a rabid dog even more at the mouth.

All we have to do is get him riled and he'll do the rest of the work for us.

Paraphrasing her, like she admittedly was, "When you have your enemy on the ground with your foot on their neck, don't let them get up".

Dirt cheap ad market and she may have a shot to win the state. Its very low risk

Things are going too well right now, but no harm in harvesting the opportunities

Sometimes campaigns climb a wall of worry, this is the opposite, at least right now

Need to stay focused and block him on issues at every turn

I still am suspicious though, Republicans are too complacent

Political Jiu-jitsu would be if the fix is already in to shove Trump out
and install Ryan, he just looks too smug for my liking

Just to make sure he IS the nominee. Otherwise it's wasted money.

that making him go off more, driving his numbers down more, might be another nail to him not being the nominee.

I'm torn. Part of me wants him because he couldn't be an easier target, and has the best chance of doing serious down-ballot damage - the other part of me doesn't on general principle. Am embarrassed that so many were willing to so lower the bar to allow him to exist, and I fear the pollution of the process and the type language and lack of civility that will be pounding the airwaves intensely for months.

What will now be acceptable in the future?

the consensus is that he has a textbook Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Why doesn't the Clintion campaign capitolize on that info.

His behavior is very similar to that of Hitler in the beginning of his campaign.
