Judge orders expedited release of 15,000 Hillary Clinton documents found by FBI

Source: CBS

At a heated hearing Monday, a federal judge pressed the State Department on when it would release the 15,000 documents uncovered by the FBI during its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Initially, the State Department attorney would not answer Judge James Boasberg’s repeated questions about the number of emails recovered by the FBI. The judge urged the State Department to expedite its review of what is called “Disc 1,” which is one of two discs handed over from FBI to the State Department in late July.

The soonest these emails will be released to the public is early October, a few weeks before the November elections.

These are all emails that Clinton sent or received during her tenure as secretary of state, and they were not among the 55,000 documents turned over by her lawyers last year. The conservative judicial watchdog Judicial Watch has filed several Freedom of Information Act lawsuits against the State Department for material from Clinton’s time as secretary of state. The group is keenly interested in Disc 1 because the information on it relates directly to Clinton.

The most troubling part.

"State lawyers told federal judge James Boasberg on Monday they expected to release the emails in batches on 14, 21 and 28 October and 4 November. The election, against Republican nominee Donald Trump, takes place on 8 November."

First, 15,000 emails where not all of the sudden "Found". The FBI looked at them, found nothing. A lawsuit by the right-wing funded "Judicial Watch" asked that they be released to the public and the Judge in the case agreed. Nothing new there. This email thing is so bogus from the start. Lets geek out for a moment; Email servers circa 2008-2009 were transitioning from a Novel/sendmail/procmail based system to MS-Exchange. People that used Exchange were hooked and liked it; the contacts, the calendar system, attachment handling were just superior. The word is that State department email just wasn't good at handling all of that like exchange, so it was common to setup alternative email routes. So have your smart IT guys set up a server running EXCHANGE and your productivity increases 20 fold! Of course being security conscious, you can't just put the Sec. of State on the cloud! Security-wise she was Sec of State married to a former President, so what would be more secure than to run the server from her home? Which is more secure; Collin Powell using AOL or Clinton running her own email server?

Basically this is all just a bunch of crap made up by right-wing dicks making political noise during an election year. It's typical Dirty Tricks from a party that is made up of A-holes.
