No place for paralyzed, seriously ill teacher at local hospital

Source: KSDK

Hegger also can't afford in home care- which can be up to $14,000 a month. So where can she go?

"[Patients] end up with a facility many times far away from home. The care probably isn't always ideal," said Headley.

Today, Tara's future and her chance for recovery remain uncertain.

"I’ve been kicked around and abused and neglected by our medical system and I never thought that could happen but it’s happening to me and I just want a fighting shot to prove what I can do. Thank you for those who continue to pray for me and support me," said Hegger.

Dolan says mercy has presented him with two options for Hegger's relocation: she can go to a one star rated facility in Kansas, or another one in Oklahoma. For more information you can visit HelpTara.org

I wouldn't wish her condition on my worst enemy. The problem is that staying at the hospital would cost way more than the best 5 star rehab center. So sometimes, the hospital may actually pay money to help pay the medical cost so she would leave.

Wish her the best remaining 2 years of her life

and it still makes me angry that we couldnt have her back at her home because we couldnt afford to provide her the care she would have needed and the government wouldnt do shit to help but if we had been a big bank, telecom or automaker they would have moved heaven and earth.

And like faithful termites... The RWers infested all branches of gov't., and are destroying our foundations.

It's true to some extent. But once again, if your local government is corrupted with outside money and skeazy practices (gerrymandering, voter suppression, loss of ballots, voting booth tampering, floods of outside money), "lazy voters" is a way simplistic explanation of what happened. It implies lazy voters are responsible since Reagan. Also quite a nice backhanded slap at voters.

I'm in Florida. Lazy voters hits the nail on the head.
Non high-profile POTUS elections barely have any turnout here.
