WATCH Hillary Clinton In A Minute
...............Male respondents reported support for the former secretary of state at 44 percent to Trumps 41 percent a major swing for the group, which had backed him throughout the campaign.
In the ABC News poll which showed Clinton leading overall among likely voters nationwide, 50 to 38 percent she was bolstered by a strong showing with college-educated women, a group that preferred Republican Mitt Romney in 2012, widening her lead with female voters overall. The poll's margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.
The Clinton campaigns making up what was once a large deficit with male voters is perhaps the starkest change from midsummer polls, in which Trump was more competitive. In late July, after the Republican National Convention the peak of Trumps popularity in the polls he held a double-digit advantage with registered male voters in a poll conducted by CNN/ORC.
......................................College-educated white women selected the eventual winner of the popular vote in every presidential election from 1980 to 2008, but the margin has never been as large as polls indicate this year. Even in President Ronald Reagans 18-point landslide victory over Democrat Walter Mondale in 1984, the gap among college-educated white women was less than 20 points.

(45,261 posts)because it's ridiculous to say that we are.
"I'm not stupid!" is just as absurd as claiming "You're stupid!". I laugh at that type of thinking.
Anyone who thinks I'm stupid is not someone I want in my life. And I don't care what anyone thinks of me.
I refuse to be associated with Trump or his supporters or let anyone speak for me about what I must believe for any reason, especially just because I have a Y chromosome.

(4,317 posts)than the numbers Reagan received in 1980. If that's close to accurate and I hope it is, this will be a blow-out election!! Closing the gap with women, men, Latinos, African Americans....who's left to vote for the tangerine? This also means the senate and YES...the house!!

(56,827 posts)but, is only up 12 points overall in the poll. Given that more women tend to vote than men, it would mean that she's winning women by only 19-20 or so points?
