Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton tout college affordability, Democratic platform in New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Contending that she "has a lot of plans" for policies she'd like to implement if elected president, Hillary Clinton touted her proposals to make college more affordable, grow the economy and create jobs during a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Monday.

Stressing that there are "lots of reasons to take this election seriously," Clinton laid out her plans to invest in technology and clean energy, ensure quality education for all Americans and "make the economy fair."

She further highlighted her proposals to make higher education more affordable by making state public colleges and universities tuition-free for families earning less than $125,000 annually and helping students pay down their debt.

"This should be an investment we make in them and in our country's future," she said as several St. Anselm students looked on from a nearby campus building.
