Greenville Church burned and spray painted "Vote Trump"

GREENVILLE, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Tuesday night sometime after 11 p.m. authorities responded to a call about a church burning.

Local Black church Hopewell M.B. Church was not only burned but also vandalized with the words "Vote Trump" spray painted on the side of the building.

Mayor Errick D. Simmons, Greenville Fire Chief, Washington County Sheriff and other local state and federal law enforcement agencies are holding a press conference Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

That's the sad part. There have been a few incidents in the last year where DUers rush to condemn the usual suspects, only to find out that it wasn't the usual suspects.

Remove those, and the usual suspects are actually slightly less usual.

We do the same thing when an (R) site is attacked, virtual or brick-and-mortar, and declare those incidents to be false-flag operations.


Same goes in general for black churches that burn. While a decent percentage of such arsons aren't solved, more than you'd think are set by not-the-usual-suspects. Sometimes disgruntled church workers, sometimes just by hooligans from the area (and since black churches tend to be in black communities ...). We're on a side, and we rush to justify that side.
