CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Donald Trump campaign has beef with Jay Z.

Hours ahead of the hip-hop artist's free Friday night concert in Cleveland to rally support for Hillary Clinton, the Trump campaign in Ohio issued a statement attacking the "free rap concert" as pandering to the "urban community" and "un-motivated millennials."

"Hillary Clinton's hypocrisy is on full display again as she raises up Jay-Z as a role-model for youth in Cleveland," reads the statement from the Rev. Darrell Scott, a Cleveland Heights pastor who is one of Trump's most visible black campaign surrogates. "For all of her talk about fighting for kids, she has no problem sharing a stage with someone who glamorizes acts of violence and having pushed drugs in our local communities. Donald Trump has spent time meeting with our community and has a plan for urban renewal that will allow black youth to achieve their American dreams through hard work, while Hillary Clinton continues to resort to stereotypical election year pandering."

Some say Ohio is lost, but events like this will entice Trump to keep spending resources and time in Ohio keep it in the red column, if the rumors are true and Ohio is indeed in the red column.
