The long lines not only show voter enthusiasm, but that Ohio officials once did a tremendous disservice to voters by not providing enough polling sites.

Attended college north of it, and absorbed that the whole area was pretty 'conservative.' Also, KY is nearby.

Which means we live in the Kentucky part of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana area. (Look at a map and you can see that the three states come together at a point. We live at that point.) In winter, we can see the Ohio River from our back yard. If we lived on the North bank of the Ohio instead of the South bank, I could vote in Hamilton County and I could help Hillary with my vote.

As it is, Trump will undoubtedly win Ky, but I'll be voting for Hillary none the less, and all of the down ballot Dems as well. There we might have a chance.

Not as bad as Toledo, though, from what I've read.

Pictures of the people standing in line lead me to think many of them are Democrats.

folks could get to the bathrooms. Also if possible, bring bottles of water and folding camp stools for old people and disabled people. Maybe others can bring cookies, etc. and walk down the lines handing them out. Try to make it an event to vote.

I am working as a Clinton poll watcher in Las Vegas on Tuesday. I live in Northern Cal, am housesitting for some friends in Southern Cal and am driving out Monday night to Las Vegas. I went to Costco today and got four packages of chocolate and assorted muffins, four packages of danish, a large box of oreos, sliced cheese and two cases of bottled water. I will go by the deli tomorrow and pick up sliced deli meats, mustard and mayo - I have paper plates and utensils. The water is for people in line and everything else is for the poll workers.

This is the fifth election (Kerry Edwards 04, Obama 08 and Obama 12 in Cincinnati and Reid 2010 in Nevada) I have done this and the quickest way to the poll workers hearts is to be polite, be courteous, don't be an ass and feed them.

WE and Hillary are going to kick ass.

Lots of the people are from "souls to the polls" which come from
African American churches on the last Sunday before the election.

early voting so severely that people were waiting in line for 4-6, even 8 hours. Next time, when we know that the GOP crooks are going to try to stop people from voting, we just need to try to make it easier. God bless souls to the polls.

Vote by mail ballots, with postage pre-paid. The way I've been voting in WA for years.

Allows you to vote at leisure, with the intertubes in front of you so you know what you're choosing, all the way down the ballot to judges.

But that would mean Republicans would have to legislate this in many states, and for that, they'd have to care about democracy.
