Top network executives, anchors meeting with Donald Trump Monday

Source: cnn

by Brian Stelter @brianstelter November 21, 2016: 11:50 AM ET

Executives and anchors from the country's five biggest television networks are set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower on Monday afternoon.

..........................

The substance of the meeting is intended to be off the record, meaning the participants will not divulge what is said. President Obama and other government officials occasionally hold similar off the record sessions with reporters, anchors and other media bigwigs.

..........................

The meeting will involve Trump, Conway and representatives from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and Fox News. (NBC's cable news channel MSNBC is included in the NBC invitation, Conway noted.)

..............................

Another source said ABC News president James Goldston and anchors George Stephanopoulos, David Muir, and Martha Raddatz are expected to attend. ................................................................................................................

And the penalties for non-compliance?

The corporate media is all too willing to be conned.
The Vietnam War,
The Iraq War,
The Israel-Palestine War,
and on and on.......it is amazing how many times the corporate media has allowed itself to be conned.

Than they do now.

Even HuffPost has caved. Before the election, they used to end every article about Trump with this:

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

Now they do not....why? He is still the very same person but they caved after the election.

I'd also like one, when everyone is seated, to stand up and say, "I refuse to participate in such blatant disregard for openness and fairness." Then walk out. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they all did?

If money could solve the problems, all the problems should have been gone by now. It' isn't money they need, it's power over you to believe the bilge their trying sell. Wake up to fact that solving the issues we see in front of us will require a new way of thinking. That's the only way we get anywhere, that's how we got here, and that's how we are going to get to the next place.
