A new website launched by a conservative group called Turning Point USA targets what they believe to be college professors who are too liberal and anti-American. The site, is Professor Watchlist, and the goal is
...to fight for free speech and the right for professors to say whatever they wish; however students, parents, and alumni deserve to know the specific incidents and names of professors that advance a radical agenda in lecture halls.
...to expose and document college professors who discriminate against conservative students and advance leftist propaganda in the classroom.
Help us identify, and expose more professors who have demonstrated liberal bias in the classroom
Visitors to the site are invited to out liberal, anti-American professors so their names can be added to the list
........................
Based on what Kirk claims on Twitter, hes also been inside Trump Tower this week.............more

(2,571 posts)This Kirk kid was encouraged NOT to go to college by his sugar daddies. Read the piece in the Atlantic that I posted below.
WTF does he know about anything that goes on, on college campuses (sp?)

(67,086 posts)theocracy works. I hate to say it, but under Trump I see America becoming a border police state, if not an actual police state. Any not adhering to the Trump Doctrine/Agenda will be deemed traitors and likely imprisoned or worse.

(10,252 posts)You don't even have to be a student. Just go to a colleges web site and look at the page listing the faculty. I think I'll start with some Christian colleges, like Jerry Falwell Jr's Liberty University. Google "Christian colleges" to find ones that you'd like to target. Pick a few catholic colleges, like Notre Dam, to get the Catholic bishops pissed off about it.

(2,571 posts)Here's an article in the Atlantic about this Kirk punk
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/03/the-21-year-old-becoming-a-major-player-in-conservative-politics/451110/
My take on the article:
Kirk's 21 years old (I got t-shirts older than that) and was encouraged NOT to go to college
(so WTF does he know about any of this anyway. He's never BEEN to college)
Nor does he seem particularly curious about education
SNIP From Article
Kirk didn't end up going to college in 2012. He's now enrolled part-time at New York's King's College, taking online classes at night after he has finished his executive director duties. He doesn't seem particularly committed, casually saying he'll get his degree "in due time."
END SNIP
His group claims to have raised a million bucks. When pressed to see the tax record it should come as no surprise, his sugar daddy back pedals for him.
A disturbing trend I keep hearing when I gird myself to read this fascist bullshit is how they go on about how people no longer value work. It's kind of starting to sound like Arbeit Macht Frei.
More fascists to research, from the article, are
Bill Montgomery
and
Peter Huizenga, who chairs investment firm Huizenga Capital Management, in Oak Brook, Illinois, and gave $50,000 to Turning Point last year,
Pete's assistant Mary Ellen may very well end of being some kind of Frau, too

The SEC has a liberal bias I guess.
It's just so hard keeping up with all the corruption, and the corruption to come weights heavy on the mind.

(9,753 posts)They realize, dimly, that their offspring will never succeed without education, but whenever they send them off to college, they just come back educated!
So if Junior is to avoid a shaky career rooting in old dump sites for resellable toilet seats, they have to smarten him up a bit.
But then, he's smart enough to never return to Dogpatch, having found (quite sensibly) that life is better in communities where your prospective mates aren't directly related to you.
No wonder they feel lost.

(2,571 posts)Read the article from the Atlantic I posted in post #7.
The front boy for the web site WAS ENCOURAGED NOT to go to college. He's never been to college. He is sort of taking online courses.
So his parents never sent him away to be educated.
I would love it if someone would ask him if he's ever SET FOOT on an actual college campus.
And then, if he answers yes, immediately ask him which ones.

(12 posts)Cant wait to go back to class and tease my professors, that none of them made that list, my entire economic department seems to lean towards a Marxist or at least Institutionalist persuasion. My thoughts on this are freedom of speech if they crazy right wing wants to post stuff like this on the internet, that is fine and may even help encourage students to take classes from these professors. I know when considering a graduate school I am looking for a university and department that will be aligned with my future research goals.

(32,704 posts)Send this message to all and every college student or professor you know. If you have friends that work at a college campus send it to them. This has got to be stopped now!!!
I have sent this off to a family friend prof at university circle campus,Chicago. This will spread like wild fire across the UIC campus. Sent it to other liberal art college prof too
Come on!! Put it in the trash bin before it takes off... grind this shit into the ground along with all their ilk as well. Young smart students and their liberal profs are just the kind we need firmly in the fight. Let them see nazism is coming to a campus near you soon!
