Donald Trump invites Philippines' Duterte to White House during 'animated' phone call - aide

Source: Reuters

MANILA (REUTERS) - US President-elect Donald Trump spoke on the telephone on Friday (Dec 2) with Philippines leader Rodrigo Duterte and invited him to visit the White House next year during a "very engaging, animated" talk, an aide to Duterte said.

The call lasted just over seven minutes, Duterte's special adviser, Christopher Go, said in a text message to media.

Go, Duterte's longtime aide and better known as "Bong Go", said the Philippines president had invited Trump to come to his country next year when it is chair of a series of summits of the Association of South East Asian Nations.

Because Duterte insulted Obama and this whole lark of Trump's is to get revenge against Obama for the 2011 Correspondents Dinner humiliation Obama doled out to him in response to the birther lie.

I'm sure Obama has regretted that more than once, given that it led to Trump's candidacy and eventual election.

I'm equally certain Obama will have the last laugh, if you will.

Course, I've been certain of a number of things that did not turn out as I expected.

Yet, anyway.

trade worker protections. Philippines will allow their people to be sub-contracters to China now.

They probably want to thank Trump for the billions and billions in trade business and offer 20 cent an hour 'jobs' to Americas 'for profit' prison slave system.

I almost invoked both their names in a post because they act like 2 peas in a pod. Two turds in a bowl is more accurate.
