A Green Beret war hero says Donald Trumps Defense Secretary pick James Mattis left his men to die after they were hit by friendly fire in Afghanistan.

Retired Lt. Col. Jason Amerine was in charge of U.S. special forces protecting future Afghan president Hamid Karzai when his troops were hit by friendly fire on December 5, 2001.

Three American soldiers and dozens of Afghanis died after being hit by a U.S. smart bomb, though help from other military units came late because the closest forces, Mattis Marine contingent, were not sent.

3. I don't think anyone nicknamed "Mad Dog" should be in Admin, but

on NPR I heard him say that he didn't think torture yielded anything and that reneging on the Iran Nuclear Deal would be wrong. That's a good sign, I think.

Mad Dog sounds like some white wing militia member who goes out and shoots women crossing the border for fun.

Guess we'll have to see what comes out during hearings.
