Ron Johnson not sold on CIA conclusion that Russia tried to tip election to Donald Trump

Source: madison.com

MARK SOMMERHAUSER msommerhauser@madison.com 5 hrs ago 73

U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said he isn’t yet convinced of the CIA’s assessment that Russia meddled in the presidential election to help President-elect Donald Trump.

Unlike Trump, Johnson, R-Oshkosh, didn’t outright reject the CIA assessment, made public last week in a report by The Washington Post.

But Johnson told the Wisconsin State Journal in a statement that he “would need more definitive information before drawing further conclusions” about Russian interference in the election — which appears to have included hacking emails from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.

Johnson, who just was elected to a second term, is a leading senator on national security issues. He is chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, sits on the Foreign Relations Committee and is chairman of its subcommittee on Europe.

........................
The hacked DNC and Podesta emails were made public by the international group WikiLeaks..........................

Wisconsin stands to benefit greatly with the next administration. Who do you thinks gonna be building some of those 71 naval vessels? It's not surprising RoJo would be going up in his "Bi-plane" now ... we'll see what happens in the next few hours.

He will obstruct any investigation any way he can.

And what exactly is the below statement makes him a slimy teabagger?
But Johnson told the Wisconsin State Journal in a statement that he “would need more definitive information before drawing further conclusions” about Russian interference in the election — which appears to have included hacking emails from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.

Hell, I want some "definitive information" too - what does that make me?

Not necessary to refute it but to just raise questions and enough people will accept it.

But I mean they released DNC emails, they released Podesta emails, they hacked GOP emails but didn't release them, only Powell's that criticized Clinton.

What conclusion can be drawn?

RoJo doesn't think the CIA and 17 agencies are right on this.
What would he be screeching if the situation were reversed and Clinton won with help from a foreign power?
Republicans and their constant putting of party over people and the country is bordering on treason.
They are committing treason by omission.

So that we have the moral high ground here.

I don't think I'm alone in that I just don't know what to believe anymore these days. The CIA have a terrible track record (missed the fall of the USSR, missed the fall of the Berlin Wall, Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, Gulf of Tonkin, etc, etc).

I understood that John Podesta merely answered a phishing email to change his gmail password. That's hardly a hack, and requires no sophistication whatever.

I'd like to see some evidence rather than CIA assertions in this matter.

After all, he benefited from the vote stripping and flipping in Wisconsin. The recount served no purpose because it did not involve a hand count of paper ballots. It was not a real recount. Wisconsin's election are as crooked as Ohio's.
