Three professors of psychiatry call for neuropsychiatric evaluation of Trump out of fears hes mentally ill
In a letter addressed to President Barack Obama, three professors of psychiatry including one from Harvard Medical School expressed fears that President-elect Donald Trumps exhibits signs he may not be mentally fit to assume the presidency.
In the letter, which can be found at The Huffington Post, Judith Herman, M.D. a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School along with two professors who taught at the University of California, San Francisco made the appeal to Obama based upon their grave concern after watching Trumps antics.
We are writing to express our grave concern regarding the mental stability of our President-Elect, the letter reads. Professional standards do not permit us to venture a diagnosis for a public figure whom we have not evaluated personally.
His widely reported symptoms of mental instability including grandiosity, impulsivity, hypersensitivity to slights or criticism, and an apparent inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality lead us to question his fitness for the immense responsibilities of the office, it continues. We strongly recommend that, in preparation for assuming these responsibilities, he receive a full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation by an impartial team of investigators.

If he plays it safe, he'll be remembered forever as the president who could have steered the ship clear of the iceberg, but was too worried about what the passengers in first class would think if he shifted course at the last minute.

(34,582 posts)if tRump somehow (like losing electors and falling below 270) isn't elected by the EC, the winner does not become the person that won the popular vote. The House selects on representative from each state, and they decide who the next president will be (and it doesn't have to be any one who ran). So, what we think means about as much as winning the popular vote.

Some pundit said, "Trump has this state," and then I get the next state...and the next...and all the anchors were so surprised... and so was I...etc" The guy lives in fantasy land. A presidency is not just about winning an election, but also even more about governing. Donald is re-living Nov. 8 over and over and over.

(8,636 posts)From the Wikipedia article:
It has been argued that evolutionary behavior predicts not only the development of dark triad personalities, but also the flourishing of such personalities. Indeed, it has been found that individuals demonstrating dark triad personality can be highly successful in society. However, this success is typically short-lived. The main evolutionary argument behind the dark triad traits emphasizes mating strategies. This argument focuses on the notion of life history strategy. Life history strategy proposes that individuals differ in reproductive strategies; an emphasis on mating is termed a fast life strategy, while an emphasis on parenting is termed a slow reproductive strategy. There is some evidence that the dark triad traits are related to fast life history strategies, however, there have been some mixed results, and not all three dark triad traits have been related to this strategy.

He looked ill at ease and disoriented as he arrived on the Ground Floor. Both are signs of early stage AD; then again, maybe he was trying to decide who to speak with, given this impromptu interview that no reporter was prepared for.
If Trump has keepers and of course he does, they probably asked him to stay in the Tower and not make an out-of-the- elevator appearance. The fact Trump did so could indicate the gradual loss of reasoning ability with AD. Or it could just be the imperialistic, dictatorial style of "I'll do what I want" Comrade Trump.

While I am unable to diagnose the President-Elect, I absolutely agree that he needs to be administered neuropsychological testing before he is inaugurated as President of the United States.
The behavior he has exhibited, both before and after the election are worrisome and in my professional opinion make me question if he has the mental stability, to handle the high office of President. I believe the country needs empirical evidence of his mental fitness for the job.

(9,090 posts)that's where sex energy gets stuck in the wrong side of the brain, the side for mathematics and logic.
where the numbers are done satisfaction-demandinf sex energy wants more, bigger, faster. that where a lot of greed comes from.
and where logic is done it wants conclusion, finality, certainty. since nature is complicated and unpredictable that sex energy causes stress and fear until the person denies reality and creates or accepts some quick easy answers to provide that fix of certainty. judging the world in absolutes helps.
to rationalize the quick easy answers requires creativity and when the gate to the creative side opens some of the sex energy escapes to the pleasure centers in the right side. and that's the pleasure of ignorance and lies. there's a reward for being stupid.
how does that sex energy get diverted to the wrong side of the brain? well, that's what happens when you learn sex with the hand connected to the side of the brain for math and logic, the right hand.
