Alec Baldwin Calls Trump "Most Reviled Candidate" in U.S. History
Source: Hollywood Reporter
Baldwin, who portrays the president-elect on Saturday Night Live, took to Twitter late Thursday night to express his thoughts about Trump's upcoming inauguration day, calling him "the most reviled candidate" in history.
"We are not far from the day when the most reviled candidate in our history will become President," the actor and vocal critic of Trump's began in a series of tweets.
He tweeted: "Unwanted by a significant majority of of voters. A man who has projected little other than an empty braggadocio and synthetic rhetoric about both his qualifications and plans but Inauguration Day means the beginning of the countdown to when he will be gone."
Adding, "And he will be gone. January 20. The countdown begins."

We can only hope that Trump gets distracted enough by petty crap like SNL skits to remember to wreck the country.

(6,137 posts)Alec mocking him on SNL is like litmus test for democracy. As long as he continues doing so we still have hope. I would start really worrying if dissent is succesfully halted, like in Russia. Michael Moore once suggested that satire may a way for us to bring trump down. Nothing else is as effective in getting under his skin.

Baldwin and Trump aren't in the same stratosphere of jackassery. Baldwin's low points are forgivable. Trump's are not.

(58,724 posts)Just think Alec Baldwin is a jackass. I don't think he particularly hates Trump. Look at his comments about him on Howard Stern from before he got elected. I don't know why people are resistant to the possibility that Baldwin is a creep.
Trump is awful and is president which makes his awfulness all the more dangerous.
