Trump spokesman quickly contradicts Trump: 'There is not going to be a nuclear arms race'

Source: RawStory

President-elect Donald Trump again set off [link:https://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/this-is-insane-trump-ignites-online-panic-with-madman-tweets-about-ramping-up-nuclear-weapons/a wave of panic] when he told Morning Joe on Friday that he welcomed the prospect of a nuclear arms race.

However, Trumps own spokesman Sean Spicer went on NBCs Today shortly afterward to try to calm the waters and insisted that we shouldnt take the president-elect literally when he says, [link:http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/let-it-be-an-arms-race-trump-doubles-down-on-scary-nuke-plan-on-morning-joe/Let it be an arms race.]

When host Matt Lauer asked Spicer if Trump really intended to start an arms race with his remarks, Spicer flatly said that theres not going to be a race to build more nuclear weapons.

So what did Trump actually mean when he said let it be an arms race on Friday morning? According to Spicer, it was just a warning shot aimed at other current and prospective nuclear powers.

Other countries need to be put on notice that he is not going to sit back and allow them to undermine our safety, our sovereignty, Spicer said. He is going to match other countries and take action.

around the the idiot-elect we, the sane, non racist, non homophobic, non bigoted, non sexist americans are going to go down with the ship. Every trump voter asked for this whether intended or not intended by their vote. I am getting worried. One of my few solaces is I'm 69 and may not see this assholes administration kill us all. Spicer, bannon, sessions, ryan, mconnoll all are going to be responsible, along with trump brownshirts for killing us all. Hell I just thought that if a trumpfuhrer voter can be so stupid and ignorant as to vote against their best interests like this election has shown then they don't care if they die in some 'noble' cause fighting brown people of the world(veiled threat against Iran?). And yes russia WILL be on our side and go down with us. It's the ultimate setup.

by world order status quo.

We have been on top for a long time. There are many other countries and organizations who don't like where they are in the totem pole, probably Russia included. They must already be thinking of how to take advantage of an uninformed, megalomaniacal, unpredictable, narcissistic, hot head adolescent at the head of the world's only super power.

Promise him riches? Poke him with a sharp twitter stick? Destroy something he cares about? Provoke a US response that unites a wide range of foreign interests against us? We worry about him screwing up on a daily basis when there's nothing really going on....what happens when something tricky is going on in the world every other day?

He has shown no aptitude for restraint, complex strategy, long term planning, avoiding conflict, thoughtful approaches to problems, etc.. Ironic that his bluster and need to demonstrate strength just reveals how weak and vulnerable he AND WE really are.

This might be the most dangerous time for our country since the missile crisis?

Which seems to mean, if "they" build more, so will Twittler.

So, yeah, even this guy is saying there will be an arms race.

You know that smile... the republican - I just told a momunmental lie and didn't even wince when I did it - smile.

Sean Shitstain and Kelly Ann Crackwhore are both accomplished professional liars. That's what they get paid to do. Trump has told us every day exactly who he is and what he's going to do. It's time we all started believing him and fuck the spokesmodels.
