Donald Trump Changes Black History Month to African American History Month

Source: TMZ

Donald Trump has changed Black History Month to National African American History month, and we know why.

A senior administration official tells TMZ, after meeting with African American leaders, he believed the consensus was that the term "black" is outdated, and the more appropriate way to refer to the community is "African American."

The official added, Trump was mindful of the new addition to the Smithsonian ... the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Every U.S. president since 1976 had designated February as Black History Month ... same sentiment, different name.

Why is the term "Black" offensive to Trump, but not
African American?

Is it to make them sound more white?

Or less immigranty/islamy?

Or to make it clear that they have to be full-fledged
citizens?

I think the change is nothing more than attempted pandering. "See I am not racist. I took an outdated word and changed it to a more modern word". Donald Trump cannot be racist because he changed the name of Black History Month to African-American History Month.

Thank you!

I suspect that's what he thinks in his little racist brain,
but the reality is that everyone knows he's a racist
nazi eugenicist to the core.

And, conversely, not all Africans (like me) are Black. Black History Month is an inclusive term as far as I am concerned.

National African American History ends up as NAAH. Naah is a perfect way for a white supremacist to dis the history month. The National really has no function otherwise unless it's just a fascistic addition.
