Kellyanne Conway, the adviser to President Trump who coined the phrase alternative facts, is facing another round of criticism and fact-checking after she falsely spoke of a Bowling Green massacre by Iraqi refugees. She acknowledged and corrected her statement Friday morning on Twitter.

But she intended to use the term "Bowling Green Massacre" - most likely because Rand Paul (R-Aqua-Buddha) blathered on about the two Iraqi refugees that were going to bomb near where he lived "in Bowling Green". Doesn't matter they were arrested for sending money and electronic supplies that could be used for IEDs to Iraq, and there was no indication they had been planning anything here in the States...

You know she didn't remember if anything actually happened there in 2011 Kentucky, but since Paul made it sound like there could have been a mushroom cloud Iraqi-born terrorist style event, the White House felt there would be no problem ramping up the anti-immigrant paranoia "justifying" their knee-jerk Friday EO.

What I think happened is she intended to plant her "fact" that "Obama did it too!" by exaggerating that he "stopped immigration", but because she talks at a mile a minute, her mouth said "bowling green massacre" before her brain caught up, because "BGM" is probably a hyperbolic code name for the situation among right-wing news sources. She said it before her brain caught up — similarly to when her throat nearly slammed shut on "alternative facts".
