School chief blames Trump for attack, drawing the ire of GOP
Patrick Whittle and Marina Villeneuve, Associated Press Updated 8:00 pm, Friday, February 3, 2017

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Maine's Republican party is accusing a school superintendent of pushing a political agenda after he suggested an attack on several black students was the result of President Donald Trump's stance on immigrants and minorities.

Maine GOP said Friday that Portland Public Schools Superintendent Xavier Botana's actions in the wake of the Jan. 27 attack were inappropriate, and it vowed to investigate him.

Police arrested 20-year-old Jamie Hoffman of Portland on Friday on charges stemming from the attack.

Botana, a Cuban immigrant, issued a statement after the attack calling the incident a product of a "noxious environment" caused by the Republican president and his executive order barring immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries. He also announced student rallies would be held promoting diversity, which the GOP said amounts to forcing students and teachers to use school time to engage in his "partisan agenda."

Kinda like how Trump got elected.

I think the GOP pays people like Stein to help them win and some people always seem to get fooled into helping elect tyrants.

That's why RW medias like fox, (for one example) gave more press coverage to stein spray painting the pipeline bulldozer.

.......good for Botana...see how long his courage to stand against the racists GOP of Maine can last. The trumpchumps are probably already threatening bodily harm to him and, if he has one, family. Dangerous times starting for all not white, male, KKKristian and their supporters. President bannon and his sock puppet boy-potus who would be king ARE responsible....SPLC will have all the numbers, I'm sure.
