Tom Brady dedicates Super Bowl LI to his mom
Source: MassLive
Tom Brady's mom made it to Super Bowl LI and the Patriots quarterback is dedicating the game to her.
Brady revealed earlier in the week to Comcast SportsNet New England's Tom Curran that his mom had been battling illness for the last 18 months and hadn't been to a game yet this season.
He hoped she'd be able to make Super Bowl LI.
On Saturday, the Patriots quarterback posted a picture on Instagram of him and his dad giving his mom a kiss on the check on the field at NRG Stadium.

(135,425 posts)I'm historically a Boston sports fan, in a lazy, playoffs, kinda way mostly, but I was irritated that Trump has a relationship--however superficial-- with the owner, coach and QB. I did like the fact that Giselle told Tommy boy to STFU about him and he DID (when the press asked, he said "My wife told me not to talk about that stuff" or words to that effect).
So, if Atlanta won I wouldn't have been upset, but since Roger Goodell tried so hard to fuck the Patriots over re: 'Deflategate' (debunked by a kid --acttually, a couple of kids--as part of science projects as well as a qualified scientific investigation) I thought it was funny that he had to eat crow at the end of the day.
If the NFL really gives a shit about balls, they should inflate them, and they should supply them--not the other way around. That's how it works in baseball--you don't see pitchers bringing in their own balls. It was all horseshit b/c they thought that team won too much and they wanted to bust up the franchise. Age has a way of doing that--so many "dynasty" teams in all sports have their day, and then sink back down (Bears, Yankees, Bruins, Celtics, LA Lakers, etc.)
All things in time....
