GOP heavyweight James Baker slams Trump’s foreign policy: ‘We have allies that are just scared to death’

James Baker, the veteran Republican statesman, said President Donald Trump’s administration had gotten a lot more wrong so far than it’s done right.

In a wide-ranging interview with Politico, the former top official under presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush criticized the Trump administration’s relationship with Mexico, Israel, NATO allies and the GOP-majority Congress.

“We have allies that are just scared to death,” said Baker, who feared that Trump was trading away sanctions against Russia for “nothing.” Baker — who served as Reagan’s chief of staff and treasury secretary, and then as Bush’s chief of staff and secretary of state — reluctantly voted for Trump, but he wasn’t impressed so far with his White House operations.

“The White House that they have constructed has a lot of chiefs,” Baker told the website. “In this White House, it seems to me, you’ve got at least four, maybe five, different power centers, so we are just going to have to wait and see how it works in practice.”

Considering he's gone bankrupt 6 times, I think we know how it will work out. The only good news is it may slow the train wreck down as they ham-string one another.

First he voted for Trump

Second because of his reputation the media pumped up he was able to throw the 2000 election to Bush.

Third his globalism that enriched the 1% and impoverished the US working class is actually WORSE than Trumps protectionism.

In my view his view is one where he and his global elite buddies rip off the working class of the world.

Also remember the reasons for the Gulf War were mostly lies. Iraqi troops massed on he Saudi border. Babies ripped from incubators. All lies. All about keeping the business climate right for he and his Texas oil buddies.

All the shit he did, has brought us to this point. Both Bernie and Trumps populist views were a reaction to what the policies of Baker brought us to as a country. Our soldiers going to war to protect the interests of the global elite, while the working class suffers.

it's in exchange for their hacking the DNC. Trump will supposedly get an ownership stake in the big Russian oil conglomerate, too.
