Trump White House no longer has cybersecurity expert keeping their technology networks

Source: Raw Story

While still using his unsecured Android phone the chief information security officer, tasked with the security of networks, communication, devices and data security at the White House has been relieved of his position.

According to ZDNet, Obama appointee Cory Louie was either fired or asked to resign last Thursday evening, and was escorted out from his office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

One source, however, explained that all Obama administration appointees have targets on their back and are fearful of speaking out about anything. The source described the actions as being something like a witch hunt for the former administrations appointees. They described it as a toxic environment. It was alleged that accusations of poor management were the excuses given for a forced departure.

Regardless of the reason, the absence of a cyber security expert in the office is concerning in an era of constant cyber attacks, particularly given the cyber attacks during the 2016 election. Others who worked in the cyber security office resigned at the end of the Obama presidency, including Louies predecessor Gregory Touhill.

No admin will just mean it'll be that much easier for Putin's bots to login to the private E-mail server they're all using.

Can you believe what we're experiencing? If this were a movie, people would see it for what it is. But because it's real life, those on the rIght condone it.

I see them for who they are. Hypocrites, every last one of them.

I say that with no hyperbole whatsoever. It seems impossible that the most powerful country in the world can, without an actual coup, go from being governed by professionals and experts to being run by amateurs in less than a month.

I'm guessing this was not coincidental. It would be a very unlikely occurrence if it were, but I suppose it is possible that these events, apparently on the same day, were not related:

I recently read somewhere that he insists on using his Android based and older unsecured Samsung Galaxy S3.

ETA: Here's just one link about his cell phone:
