Trump Advisor, Stephen Miller, Disasterously Defends Trump

Source: Huff Post.

Stephen Miller, President Donald Trumps senior policy adviser, made the rounds on Sundays political talk shows to defend the administrations stance on several major issues. It did not go well.

On ABCs This Week, he vigorously defended ― but provided no evidence to support ― Trumps lie that millions of people had voted illegally.

Im prepared to go on any show, anywhere, any time and repeat it and say the president of the United States is correct, 100 percent, he said.

After pressing Miller several times to no avail, host George Stephanopoulos ended the segment.

You have provided zero evidence of the presidents claim that he would have won the popular vote if 3 to 5 million illegal immigrants hadnt voted, zero evidence for either one of those claims, Stephanopoulos said, "Thanks a lot for joining us this morning.."

Miller, who was influential in drafting the ban, told CBS News John Dickerson that it was crazy for judges to rule on the constitutionality of laws. He also reiterated criticism of Judge James Robart, the Seattle-based federal judge who halted the ban earlier this month.

Miller was considered an insane crank that people ignored. Now he is a White House advisor. It is truly frightening. The people who know him and grew up with him in Santa Monica, California, are aghast. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.laist.com/amp/articles/create%3farticle_id=58a0d2c6ada6e21d1227f877

Next step is he will start firing people, again to shift attention and blame from himself, and also to install new people to throw under the bus. Go a few steps down the ladder to the lower echelons and he will grind up and spit out the careers of hundreds of people in a matter of months.

Soon he won't be able to find any one to work for him. They already had to start pretty low on the ladder if Batshit Crazy Michelle Bachmann's Press Secretary is a senior advisor to the POTUS.

Didn't I read that somewhere in constitutional law class a couple decades ago? Maybe a minor Supreme Court decision? I dunno......

Sure bet these idjits running the country (into the ground) never read it. That takes comprehension skills far beyond theirs.

"This isn't playing well in Peoria..."

These clowns never learned rule number one from Marshall MacLuhen - TV is a cool medium, hot characters never come across well. Cool politicians like JFK and Obama exude calm, competence, and confidence - hot heads project panic, instability, and incompetence. Mr. Miller seemed positively unstable.

referenced Raymond Burr. B&W is cooler, but once color became the standard, they had to put Perry Mason into a wheelchair (ie Ironside) to cool the character down.

that means it isn't illegal"? Scary stuff that there are Americans who supposedly "revere" the Constitution and the separation of powers yet want the president to basically be an Ancient Roman dictator. But I guess that's the authoritarian personality that has taken over the GOP.

But the whole bunch of them are just a bunch of deplorable dumbshits.

Deep trouble for all human beings.
