Christie gets called to D.C. for lunch Tuesday with Trump, sources reveal

Source: NJ Advance Media

Gov. Chris Christie is scheduled to have a lunch meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, two sources with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media.

The meeting comes as speculation intensifies that Trump has grown unhappy with several members of his inner circle and their performance in the first month of the administration.

Christie, a fellow Republican who has been a longtime friend and confidant to Trump, is expected to discuss a broad range of topics with the president, according to the sources, who requested anonymity to talk candidly about the meeting.

Kushner angry over talk of Christie's future with Trump, report says

TRENTON -- Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of and close adviser to President Donald Trump, is angered by reports that Gov. Chris Christie may be hoping to secure a job in the future helping Trump's administration, according to a report by Politico citing anonymous sources.

The detail is part of a story that the political news website published Friday saying Trump, a real estate mogul and former Atlantic City casino tycoon, is struggling after a few weeks in the Oval Office and is frustrated in his attempts to run the federal government like a business.

Priebus had one job and he sucks at it. Christie as White House Chief of Staff would probably up to the task, but he brings his own set baggage that could easy blow up and create more problems for Trump and his gang of inept Keystone Kops.

That's not Christie's fault.

Charles Kushner (born May 16, 1954) is an American real estate developer and convicted felon. He founded Kushner Companies in 1985. In 2005, he was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and served time in federal prison. After his release he resumed his career in real estate. He is the father of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of and senior advisor to President Donald Trump.

Now that the Ministry of Soviet Affairs has been given to Tillerson and Tom Price is looking to head up the newly designated Department of Ill Health and Inhuman Disservices, while Governor Oops seems to be content with thinking the Energy Department's main concern is his endurance on the dance floor, I hereby nominate Chris Christie for Secretary of Weight. We might as well have at least ONE cabinet member who is well versed in the subject of the Department he about to lead.

Christie is not normal circumstances. He has repeatedly shown himself to be mean-spirited in the extreme, and indicated in no small degree that he is corrupt as well. I think there are several degrees of slime to penetrate before we are close to sinking to his level.

Since Christie was able to escape prosecution for Bridgegate, he has some skills that might come in handy about now

Seriously though, Trump would be lucky if Christie would come to the rescue to repair the train wreck in WH, but I doubt Christie wants to be fall guy for Trump's incompetence

Then Chris Christie was rewarded with Governorship; because, in this country, there's no other way or coin of phrase known to exist, to describe...

A federal prosecutor getting millions of dollars...

To ...forgo...a federal prosecution.

Correct?
