Scarborough rips Conway as an 'out of the loop' liar after Flynn resignation
Source: Politico
Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conways assertion that former national security adviser Michael Flynn enjoyed the full confidence of the president just hours before he offered his resignation is proof that President Donald Trumps former campaign manager is out of the loop and acting recklessly, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Tuesday morning.
She goes out and lies and you find out about those lies a couple hours later, Scarborough said, addressing Morning Joe panelist Willie Geist. Or if she's not lying, Willie, she is actually what Ive heard she is so out of the loop. She's in none of the meetings and she just goes out without talking without having the facts.
Appearing on MSNBC on Monday afternoon, Conway said Flynn, a retired lieutenant general who once led the Defense Intelligence Agency, does enjoy the full confidence of the president despite swirling controversy about a conversation Flynn had with Russias ambassador to the U.S. In that conversation, Flynn reportedly discussed easing American sanctions imposed against Russia over its interference with last years presidential election.
Asked about that reported conversation, Vice President Mike Pence said it had never occurred, a statement he made based on information from Flynn. In his resignation letter on Monday, Flynn admitted he had inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information regarding my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador.

(58,785 posts)Better than the "whore" some have used, at least she's supposedly a well kept woman who serves only one man (unless otherwise ordered), but...really? She's very well off herself, you know, held very competitive positions in TV before this, and as the daughter of a former top government official is extremely well connected. As a matter of fact, dad once held the position Flynn just resigned from.
Back to Not-So-Perky Conway, seems to me expressing "full confidence" right before a person "resigns" is fairly SOP in these cases.

(23 posts)I for one find their dynamic heartwarming and endearing, better than Chris Cuomo's vacant stare or FOX & Fucks for christ's sake. Lol at adultery being a thing, she does what she wants with her genitalia, so do the rest of us adults

(58,785 posts)But since you ask, "adultress" still shifts focus from the woman's politics to use of her genitalia. There are religious and sex forums for that talk, after all.
Sell-out? To corrupting partisan passions? 100% agree. No matter her original principles, like millions of conservatives, all have been badly betrayed.

That is a huge question.
If Trump doesn't fire Conway,I think that means she was speaking for Trump.
Which means Trump let Pence go out there and say something he knew was not true.

The spin = Flynn lied about his calls to Russians and then lied to Pence who
then went out and said untruths Flynn's dealings with Russia. Flynn has now called
both Trump and Pence and has apologized about his inadvertent error.
The real story = Flynn told the Russian ambassador not to worry about
President Obama's sanctions because Trump would lift them once in office
in thanx for Russia's help in rigging the election.
The real story = Trump knew about Flynn's calls to the Russian ambassador.
Trump's tweet one or two days after Flynn's call to the Russian ambassador

The real story = The Russians were way deep into our elections.
An example of just how deep the Russian hacking was into the election ..... they were
into the county level in Wisconsin and were messing with down ticket races too.

Great move on delay (by V. Putin) - I always knew he was very smart!
This doesn't have to be a boast from our then narcissist-elect hinting at his illegal interference in national policy, but it grabbed my eye immediately because we had such strong reason to believe it was happening.

(5,995 posts)Knowing how good they really are made the easily found hacker prints on the Dem releases puzzling at the time. In all likelihood, the HRC ops were to not only damage her campaign, but to distract from their more nefarious direct actions on vulnerable voting systems. Whether they actually did the deed on election day, it's quite plausible that they inserted the necessary backdoors and tools needed to shade the outcome to their advantage in the final counts. Please recall the massive GOP turnouts in northern Florida precincts and other states the analysts used to quantify Dem apathy. Campaign rallies and twitter posts without a noticeable ground game do not support the kind of turnout shown in the final numbers.
