In todays joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump was asked about the sharp rise in anti-Semitism and what he would say to Jewish communities around the world who believe his administration guilty of playing with xenophobia and racism.
Trump immediately took that opportunity to bring up one of his favorite subjects the size of his Electoral College victory.
Well, I just want to say that we are, you know, very honored by the victory that we had, Trump said. 306 Electoral College votes. We were not supposed to crack 220. you know that, right?
After talking more about his victory and how it was indicative of the enthusiasm out there for him, Trump pointed out that he has Jewish family members.

On the other hand, the gop seems to really like to have idiots representing them in the WH. tRump is a low class, low intelligence bufoon. Just like the gop like them.

However, I would not consider Goldwater, Nixon nor Ford to be dummies. Reagan really started the downwards trend towards where the president was not the smartest, or one of the smartest, guys in the room. George W Bush took it to another level and Trump is the pinnacle of the anti-intellectualism (or, nadir?)

As Charles Krauthammer said:
This is beyond narcissism. I used to think Trump was an 11-year-old, an undeveloped schoolyard bully. I was off by about 10 years. His needs are more primitive, an infantile hunger for approval and praise, a craving that can never be satisfied. He lives in a cocoon of solipsism where the world outside himself has value indeed exists only insofar as it sustains and inflates him.
