They also demanded Ryan hold a town hall on the raids, one of which reportedly resulted in the arrest in Seattle of a 23-year-old DACA beneficiary.

"We are no longer safe. I am no longer safe in the only country I see as home," Valeria Ruiz, a 20-year-old Racine resident who is protected under DACA, told a group of more than 50 outside the office.

The program, part of a President Barack Obama executive order, protects from deportation an estimated 750,000 immigrants brought to the country illegally as children and also provides them work permits.

In response to Friday's protest, a Ryan spokesman said "Paul appreciates hearing the opinions and feedback of his constituents, he fully respects their right to voice their concerns, and he hopes any future demonstrations will continue to be conducted in a peaceful and civil manner."........................

MSNBC: "Mr. Speaker, has your office raised concerns that these raids are violating basic constitutional and human rights?"

CNN: "Mr. Speaker, if the courts find these raids unconstitutional and the president persists, will the House consider impeachment?"

Faux: "Mr. Speaker, were any white people accidentally deported - particularly blondes?"
