‘I Was Disappointed’: VP Pence Carefully Responds to Question About Being ‘Misled’ by White House Over Flynn
by J.D. Durkin | 10:48 am, February 20th, 2017

While speaking alongside the NATO Security General in Brussels Monday, Vice President Mike Pence faced a question from the press regarding the events of impropriety that led to the resignation of former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn.

Pence was asked directly by Ken Thomas of the Associated Press moments ago, “Do you feel like your were misled by members of the Trump administration or were you frustrated that you were left out of the loop on this situation, and what assurances have you received from President Trump that something like this will not happen again?”

The Vice President and former Indiana Governor was very careful in his response — answering very little of the original question — cautiously crafting the right words. He said:

“Let me say I’m very grateful for the close working relationship I have with the President of the United States and I would tell you that I was disappointed to learn that the facts that have been conveyed to me by General Flynn were inaccurate.”

That's the exact wording I used for a recommendation letter for someone I couldn't stand. Nothing about the person, all about me... "I was disappointed"

and still he let Pence go out and say his bull shit and it wasn't
until the story of Flynn's phone calls to the ambassador broke
and then Trump found Jesus?

Pence had to know about the Russian work in our election(s)
because the GOP used the data stolen from democrats by the
Russians to "win" their campaigns.

but mine was that Bush Sr. as VP most likely knew everything going on with Iran-Contra under Reagan, also.
It's the same old Republican song.
Hence, some things never change.

HW Bush flew to Paris and met w/the Iranians in the fall of 1980
and cut a deal w/them to hold onto the American hostages until
after the election but we were supposed to believe that he had
nothing to do w/Iran-Contra?

My post was that Pence had to know about the Russian support
for Trump's campaign because Paul Ryan and others were
using the data stolen from the democrats to run their campaigns
too.

Poor innocent guy, not at all part of the GOP machine that is also implicated in the mess. Gotta shore up that image before they impeach Trump so he can step up!

And is probably both. After all, he was in charge of the so-called transition. How is it he didn't know what was happening? Where was his curiosity when all those closed-door transition meetings were going on behind his back. It be as funny as VEEP if it weren't real life.
