Kellyanne Conway, once the most visible spokesperson for the Trump White House, has been sidelined from television appearances for making statements that were at odds with the administration's official stance, White House sources told CNNMoney on Wednesday.
Conway has not given a television interview since early last week. On that Monday, she claimed that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had the president's "full confidence." Hours later, Flynn resigned.
The following day, Conway claimed Flynn had offered to resign, even though White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Trump had asked Flynn for his resignation.
She has not given a television interview since then.
Those statements, which came amid existing public scrutiny over Conway's credibility, led the president and his top advisers to conclude that her appearances were doing more harm than good for the administration, the sources said.

UPDATE:
Kellyanne Conway Responds to Report Shes Been Sidelined from TV Appearances
by Josh Feldman | 2:27 pm, February 22nd, 2017
Kellyanne Conway is disputing a report this afternoon that says she has been sidelined from TV appearances by the Trump administration.
CNNs Dylan Byers reported this afternoon that Conways absence from TV came as a result of her being off message when she was talking about Michael Flynn last week before his resignation.
Conway has already disputed this account and told reporters that she expects to be on Fox tonight:

(81,220 posts)I certainly haven't missed her, at all!
Having her yap shut has been a pleasant relief. For all the bullshit spewing out of this so-called White House, I find myself thinking - "well, at least we don't have to hear from Jodyanne Jerkmeoff" (that's what my husband calls her).

(58,785 posts)that she didn't issue these lies believing she was doing her job? Joe Scarborough? Steve Bannon?
Despicable as she is, she's a pro who delivered the standard pro bullshit at the standard time. In that shark tank the question isn't if anyone will end up just a bloody spot in the water but who, how many, and how soon?
I wish Megyn Kelly were replacing Kellyanne. She'd be right at home there. While she lasted.

(514 posts)This is just another indicator of how chaotic, amateurish, and incompetent this so-called Administration is. We are a month in and we have high-level resignations (Flynn), drop-outs (Puzder), and the side-lining of Conway. There is no stability in this White House.
Things change in the White House every day and every week. There is no stability and order there at all. Department staff (under-secretaries, etc) remain un-appointed. The Government is running on auto-pilot with no one at the wheel. Trump and his Cronies are incompetent and do not know how to govern. Their Staff is a revolving door of incompetents with the Crack-pot in Chief being the main incompetent of them all.
These people do not know how to run the largest organization on earth. Trump is trying to run the Government the same way as he ran his Trump Organization: as a personality cult without any coherent management or structure. The basic organizational rule is to kow-tow to emperor Trump.
We are living in a dangerous time. Trump's incompetence is a threat to National Security. As Leon Panetta and others have pointed out, there is fear and concern about how an incompetent Trump Administration would react to a real National Crisis. They can not even get their own personnel in order much less deal with real threats to the country.
We need to impeach Trump or remove him via the 25th Amendment. Pence is detestable, but at least he is not a raging, incompetent narcissist like Trump. If we can clear out Trump and his main sycophants, maybe the Government will regain some basic order, under the influence of people like McCain and other sane Republicans. I may disagree with many of their policies and positions, but at least mainstream Republicans like McCain and Graham are mentally stable and can be reasoned with.

(805 posts)Sitting here in front of my TV with my finger on the 'Mute' button, hoping to play my favorite new pastime, called 'Silence.'
It goes like this: I sit, I wait...whenever KellyAnne Whatever opens her mouth to speak, I push the button, raise my hand and, in an authoritarian voice, say 'Silence." It's not much, but, it can be just a little satisfying.

(50,555 posts)I thought she wasn't doing television because no interviewer believes a word she says and the makeup artists union said they weren't working on her again unless they got hazardous duty pay.
Now they're saying she's at odds with the administration's official stance? This administration has one of those?
