Pelosi: President Trump 'has nothing to show' for 1st month in office except 'fear'

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said that President Trump will have no positive achievements to point to when he gives his first address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night.

"He has nothing to show for it but fear in every way," Pelosi told ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos Sunday on "This Week." "To people who are sick -- fear, to people who are immigrants -- fear, to people who are concerned about the greed on Wall Street -- taking us back to where we were."

Pelosi also said she doesn't believe Republicans will be able to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, President Obama's signature health care law, as many in the GOP have promised.

"How can they do it?" she said. "They do not have the votes."

as being soft, or too corporate, or too compromising, but I always say
one doesn't achieve such longevity in any profession without astounding
expertise, and she has such good instincts for public opinion, knows when
to fight and when to hunker down, and when to let it go. When she comes
out with a statement like this it is very very revealing because she sees
substance behind her ideas.

Trump will achieve nothing but inflation and pollution. Those are the legacies
of his policies, we must resist to reduce both as much as possible in these
years we are out of power.

Alll due respect and all that, but claiming DT accomplished nothing is not very bright. He did a lot more than sow fear and bigotry.

He did plenty -- all destructive. He shitcanned important protections. Protections that help keep our water and wildlife safe from poisons; protections of civil rights in public institutions; protections that protect consumers and the stability of our financial system; protections that preserve open government. He did it all by executive order. No help from Congress needed. (And of course right-wingnuts have been busy bees over on the hill too.)

Not to mention the appointment of "leaders" to executive agencies who are hell bent rendering their respective agencies incapable of carrying out critical public sector functions.

What he has done is FAR WORSE than "nothing."

If DT had accomplished "nothing" i'd be delighted.
