Nationwide Unsweetened Apple Sauce Recall for Trader Joes

Manzana Products Co., Inc. is voluntarily recalling three different types of Trader Joe’s Unsweetened Apple Sauces due to the potential presence of glass pieces.

Details are as follows:

Each apple sauce is packaged in a 24 oz. glass jar and customers can find the “Best Before” date stamped on top of the lid.

The recall was initiated after the company received customer reports of glass found in some of these products

I wouldn't be surprised if this is extended to other store brands, so watch out.

heard this report on TV this AM and found it particularly interesting that both the organic and non organic were included. Makes one go Hmmmm?

I don't know if the Trader Joe's and North Coast products were being run on the same lines.
