WASHINGTON President Trump rejected the idea of a special prosecutor Monday to look into Russian activity during last year's election, and said he had nothing to do with it it any case.

I havent called Russia in 10 years," Trump said during a meeting of insurance executives as reporters asked him about whether there is a need for special prosecutor on Russia.

It's hard to know what Trump meant by his comment about not calling Russia in a decade; the New York businessman visited Moscow in 2013 for a Miss Universe pageant.

He also spoke on the telephone to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Jan. 28. During that call, Trump criticized the 2011 treaty with Russian signed by former President Barack Obama, which is called New START.

lesser of 2 evils, and they want the FBI to to release evidence not just leakes. I know the dumpster is guilty as sin, as well as the rest of the crapshow that is this administration. My brothers aren't policy wonks and only listen to local news. A lot of people aren't as involved in all of this as we are. When tRump was there in 2013 he met with the most powerful banker in Russia, Gref. Putin had been invited to the same meeting and was thought to be coming but did not show.

Trump's Commerce Secretary nominee Wilbur Ross is deeply entwined with Russians via the Bank of Cyprus.

Semion Mogilevich is the most powerful organized crime figure in Russia.

Jill Stein and Mike Flynn sat at the same table as Putin in 2015 at a celebration of Russia Today (propaganda arm). Flynn got $40K speaking fee which he did not clear with the Pentagon as required by law.
