White House analysis of Obamacare repeal sees even deeper insurance losses than CBO

Source: Politico

The White House's own internal analysis of the GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare show even steeper coverage losses than the projections by the Congressional Budget Office, according to a document viewed by POLITICO on Monday.

The executive branch analysis forecast that 26 million people would lose coverage over the next decade, versus the 24 million CBO estimate — a finding that undermines White House efforts to discredit the forecasts from the nonpartisan CBO.

The analysis found that under the American Health Care Act the coverage losses would include 17 million for Medicaid, six million in the individual market and three million in employer-based plans.

A total of 54 million individuals would be uninsured in 2026 under the GOP plan, according to the White House analysis. That’s nearly double the number projected under current law.

That's the CONS' absolute BIGGEST CONJOB of them all.

They don't give a damn if their policies throw you to the wolves. They loudly and publicly profess their "Christianity". All day, every day, and a whole bunch of times on Sundays.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

I'm going to repeat that a whole lot because it sure works for donald trump. Ever notice that, in his "speeches"? LOTS of repetition of points or slogans or insults or lies he wants to make sure you hear and absorb.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T believe in helping you. They don't think they should have to! Their "philosophy" of "government" is to starve it so small that you can drown it in the bathtub. Only military stuff. That's all the government should handle. And redistribution of income upwards to the very same people who have so much money already that they really don't need any help from anybody.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

They DON'T want to help you.

REPEAT. And repeat AGAIN. Because it's necessary.

That's something I wish our Dems understood. The whole psy-ops of messaging.

Our ideas are better. It's our messaging that sucks.

By contrast, their messaging is better. It's their ideas that suck.

The difference is in the messaging. It's superficial, alright. Nevertheless, it's CRUCIALLY important!

Just found out that That was the good news. What's the bad? Remember the good old ADA, the Americans Disabilities Act? Well it's just been turned on you, whether or not you are disabled. Check out Hr 1313. It's about taking your privacy away at YOUR CELLULAR LEVEL. That's right if passed the Federal Government WILL DEMAND that you give your DNA not to the "State" but to your employer or potential employer. No questions asked, just jam a needle into your arm and help themselves to you, your mom, dad, brothers, sisters and whomever you share your genetic pool with. This IS THE ULTIMATE SCIENCE FICTION HORROR COME TO LIFE, YOUR LIFE. NOW they can do whatever they wish. Heck, maybe in the not to distant future they will just clone you and breed all the "really bad" stuff out. You know, create the perfect Arian.
PLEASE CALL your representatives in the Government and tell them that we don't want it, otherwise you just might find yourself in a uncomfortable position pushed up against another "glass ceiling" of no choice because they quite literally will own your ass.

Sounds like you're talking about that proposal that would allow employers to demand a DNA test - presumably to be able to weed out any employees who seem to be "too expensive" to have on board because of all the employer-provided health care they can be expected to need.

These are the folks who don't see you as a human being. All they see are walking dollar signs. And the important part is - are those dollar signs walking TOWARD them (making them more profit) or away from them (siphoning money away from their bottom line).

Sounds like the Ferengi to me.

There are apparently people in the admin who have some sense of morality, and are leaking out all this stuff to show people what liars they are.

Speaking of Politico I always felt it leaned slightly right but there have been some really great reporting and articles coming out of that site. Really been impressing me.

.............................

It finds that 54 million people total would be uninsured in 2026.

The CBO on Monday projected that the number of people without health insurance would grow by 14 million in 2018 under the Republican ObamaCare replacement bill.

The CBO estimated that 24 million people would become uninsured by 2026 under the bill, largely due to the proposed changes to Medicaid.

Seven million fewer people would be insured through their employers over that same time frame ........................

On Monday, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price said "we disagree strenuously with the report that was put out."

He said it was "virtually impossible" to have 14 million people lose coverage in 2018.
