More than 30 dead after US-led coalition air strike hits school sheltering families near Raqqa

Source: Telegraph UK

A suspected US air strike on a school being used as a shelter by families displaced from the Isil-held Syrian city of Raqqa killed at least 33 people on Tuesday, in the latest high civilian casualty raid by the coalition.
...
The death toll is expected to rise, according to local activists, who said bodies were still being pulled from the rubble and many families were unaccounted for.

The nearest Isil installation to the site of the air strike was a religious school two miles away, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. “All remaining hospitals in the countryside have been rendered inoperable,” said one activist from the anti-Isil group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently.
...
The White House is considering lifting rules of engagement enacted by the Obama administration that sought to avoid civilian deaths.

The film "Cries from Syria" greatly illuminates what's actually happening there, worth catching it if you have the time.

.. not only on government and its officials but also on the
military and the departments (such as ICE) that now have
no curbs to their behavior.

We are governed by a monster, and now the monster in
people comes out without shame.

It's like the uninhibited monster id on steroids.

And link this to the obligation for America to take in Syrian refugees, am I right?

And also to link this to perhaps Trump giving free reign to the Pentagon to terrorize the entire nation?

....war is always bloody and messy.

Intel is not always right.

Also this could have been Russian/Syrian/Saudi jets etc..

However the alternative is letting Isis have it's way with the local population which long term will result in many more innocents killed.

Your premise seems to imply the only two possibilities are either Isis killing the local innocents or coalition aircraft killing local innocent civilians.

Though I realize it may appear daunting to overcome the bias that that human made conflicts can be solved by more than one and merely one solutions, it is however, possible.

So you either let them kill all they want or try and stop them with force.

Doing so will result in innocents being killed but the alternative is ISIS killing many more.

What's another solution that eliminates ISIS's ability to kill the locals?

annihlation of one side by another (excluding the Old Testament and the first Crusade). Most end with some sort of negotiated settlement.

The problem with stating a position that "We never negotiate with terrorists" and then declaring armed adversaries like ISIS 'terrorists" is that you preclude one possible way to end the military conflict.

You strike me as the type that has a hammer and sees every problem as a nail.

N.B. Our puppet regime in Afghanistan is negotiating with the Taliban.
