Poll: Most Republicans believe Trump's wiretap claim

Source: The Hill

Nearly three-quarters of Republicans believe President Trump’s claim that former President Obama wiretapped him last year, a new poll shows.

Seventy-four percent of Republican respondents said it is “very” or “somewhat” likely Obama wiretapped Trump Tower in 2016, according to a CBS News poll released Wednesday.

Just 24 percent said Trump's claim, which he's produced no proof of, is "not very likely" or "not at all likely."
Trump claimed earlier this month on Twitter that Obama had his “wires tapped” at Trump Tower in New York City last year.

FBI Director James Comey said last week the Department of Justice (DOJ) has “no information” validating Trump’s accusation.

I prefer having the otherside firmly believing their own nonsense as the other 60% of america wonders what kind of morons are they....its OUR fault trump and conservatives are in control...as we have voters who wouldn't vote or voted for 3rd party because their view of not "able to support the lesser of 2 evils"...well folks...the like minded gave america 8 years of bush-cheney and those years of debacle and the same type were willing to gave america trump and the conservative dismantling of america....those in are own sphere of beliefs sold us out...

we have 2018 to take back america but we have get off our asses to do so...

They would get similar results showing they believe Obama to be a Muslim born in Kenya.

We are talking brainwashed idiots here.

We must find a way to stop the brainwashing if we want to save our country.

Simply dismissing them doesn't solve our problem.

If they get their news from Breitbart or Fox, that's it. It all boils down to a giant corporate propaganda mouthpiece. That's why.

Just not the way they think they are.

He was wiretapped and that is going to come out .. But it was not him that was targeted. It was the foreign actors he was talking to. He got himself tapped by making his shady deals with them.

They will never ever let themselves see it was his actions that got him tapped not Obama's though.

Just like they will never see him as the con he is.

Tell them any lie they want to and they will be true believers. Imagine that power. More liberal folks are better educated, more aware of facts, more apt to research on their own. It would never work on us.

Because they really really WANT TO BELIEVE. It makes no difference if a thousand news sources and a hundred intelligence agencies refuted the claim. Nothing is too outrageous not to be taken as gospel right on the spot and forever more.

of epic proportions. He will look you dead in the eye and swear the sun rises in the west, sets in the east and pigs fly. He assumes they will believe him and THEY assume if he said it then it must be true. Unless and until they come to realize they have been conned, BIGLY, they will continue to be true believers and will be conned repeatedly. I don't know what it takes to remove the blinders from those who will not hear or see the truth. Perhaps those schooled in psychology and communications can give some guidance when the time comes to let them know the extent of the BIG CON he pulled last fall.
