What Secret Service spent on Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's Whistler trip

When Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner took their family to a ski resort in Whistler, Canada during Passover last month, U.S. Secret Service went, too, and the cost of their portion of the trip was over $65,000.

CBS News' Laura Stricker confirms, based on a review of federal purchase orders, that the U.S. Secret Service spent the following on Jared Kushner's and Ivanka Trump's family trip:

$6,884.03 for "multi-day ski passes for USSS personnel"

$59,654.39 for "hotel accommodations for USSS personnel"

The purchase orders to do not appear to show the travel costs incurred for Secret Service on the trip.

Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump hit the slopes again

(CNN) — As President Donald Trump grappled with the realities of governing, leaks about infighting within his administration, and multiple international conflicts, two of his top aides, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, were far from the White House.

The couple celebrated Passover at the Four Seasons Whistler in Canada, according to an article and exclusive photo in Jewish Insider.

Ivanka Trump, decked out in a red ski suit with fur trim, is pictured on her phone, grabbing some matzoh from a buffet. The photo was taken Monday, according to the publication. The White House did not respond to CNN's request for comment to confirm that Kushner was indeed traveling with his wife over the holiday. (A family Passover photo from the White House posted by Trump on Monday appears to have been taken during the inaugural weekend.)
