Adelphi men’s lacrosse enters field to Trump speech, video shows

The Adelphi University men’s lacrosse team uses a speech by President Donald Trump as its entrance music, according to a video that has been viewed more than 602,000 times.

The entrance shown in a 39-second video posted Wednesday morning on Barstool Sports’ Instagram feed, does not violate school policy, a school spokesman said.

The video shows the Adelphi players lined up about to enter the field. The player at the front of the line is carrying an American flag. It is not clear from the video at which game this video was taken.

There are several other locations for Adelphi around New York but this is happening at the Garden City location according to the article.

at the beginning of a game is hideous, and a throwback to Germany prior to the Second World War.

Adelphi is not, how shall I say this, the most selective school, but it is still sickening to see that.

I live on Long Island. There are pockets of progressivism, but not nearly enough. I think it's roots in suburban "white flight" mentality exacerbates that. Very anti Immigrant, even as immigrants serve us in our restaurants and mow our lawns.

Trying to figure out a good walkable affordable and progressive place to retire. I welcome suggestions, my friends!
