It's Finally Confirmed: Rod Rosenstein Says He is Not Resigning and Never Threatened To

Source: Mediaite

by Jon Levine | 7:21 am, May 12th, 2017

Rod Rosenstein is not resigning and has never threatened to do so. The final definitive account came from the Deputy Attorney General’s own mouth. Liz McKernan, a Senior Online News Producer at Sinclair Broadcast Group, managed corner Rosenstein in Washington and managed to pry the answers out of him as he walked down a hallway.

“No I’m not quitting,” said Rosenstein.

When pressed about whether he threatened to quit, Rosenstein responded “no.”

Over the last 48 hours, Rosenstein has become the definition of a political football. In the hours after the firing of James Comey, the Trump administration originally said that Rosenstein had been the one to instigate the dismissal. Reports then emerged that Rosenstein threatened to resign over how he was being portrayed by Trump and the media. The White House then pushed back on those claims saying everything was just fine with Rosenstein.

Rosenstein’s brief remarks while scurrying down a hallway finally seem to put the matter to bed.

That right there raises questions. His job may well have nothing to do with justice, or serving the citizens of these United States.

He could be backtracking. Something made Trump change the narrative. Anyway, he's just another partisan shill unfortunately.

Why would anyone risk all that respect for Donald Trump because everyone knows Trump throws people under the bus when he no longer has any use for them.

He could have left DOJ at anytime and made a shitload more money at a white collar law firm.

I am not saying working for Trump turned him into a sleaze bag I am saying there is something else going on that is not money.

How do we know that this is the truth, or reliable at all?
Has no one been paying attention to the details of Sinclair, and the recent merger?
They are an extremely right wing biased media organization.

I would like to see some better sources, or Rosenstein's face speaking to someone considered credible.

Just sayin'
