GOP Sen. Hoeven Doesnt Back Senate Obamacare Repeal Bill As It Stands

Source: Talking Points Memo

Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND) on Wednesday said that he does not support the current draft Senate bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.

During a roundtable event with North Dakota hospital executives, Hoeven told the audience that he “doesn’t support the bill as it stands,” but that the Senate is working to improve the legislation, according to the Forum News Service.

In a statement issued after the event, Hoeven reiterated that he does not back the current draft.

“While I do not support the Senate health care bill in its current form, we continue working on the legislation with the goal of providing greater access to health care and more affordable health insurance,” he said in the statement. “Addressing the problems with Obamacare and reforming our health care system will be a process, not one bill, and meetings like today’s will allow us to take feedback from health care providers in North Dakota back to Washington.”

I just gotta ask, where was this ass****, when a pipeline was being built on Indigenous peoples sacred land, I know siding with the power of desecrating sovereign land and human beings that want clean water, so they don't get sick from polluted water by greed, and oil companies, and this ass**** thinks that the current death panel bill for health care isn't good enough or bad enough as it stands and needs to be tweaked, for who ass****, you have quite a list says otherwise.

The Standing Rock Sioux, Hoeven have already seen your handy work in play and your looking for "feedback" from health care providers, its real simple asshole --------------Single payer competing against your health care providers insurance companies and big pharma.

Lets take a look at your scheme to stay in office and power:

They don't want to suffer political consequences of repeal, but they do benefit
if they look like they're doing repeal, only to fail because of a few recalcitrant
hold outs, and their red meat Trumper Prepper base stays fully motivated for
some 2018 steak.

He is a fake as you can get, and he plays people like you said in your response, "playing the base into rage"

He is not going to do anything, all of those donation dollars that he has and will get says otherwise, he has no principles he's walking around saying one thing and doing another, he is plastic, a fake.

Plastic as you say. Fake.

It's something--back in the day when something was fake, we'd say "it's/they're" plastic! You revived a memory.

Tell me again how you say thank you in your tongue?

No dumbass. That's what HEARINGS are for where you can get that feedback - from all parties involved, including your constituents. You can't just throw a piece of shit together and try to jam it through for a vote, and then suddenly ask people - well what do you think (knowing you really don't care what they think?

and the human beings in North Dakota, haven't even asked, if they have, what is going to happen to the rural hospitals, are you going to send in and set up the National guard tents to cover this stuff?

And looking these human beings in the eye and filling these people full of BS, like its some honor to do that, he really is a tin foil hat, just a tin foil hat

What this means is people with no money or subsidies will have MORE companies and policies to choose from that they couldnt afford to buy from if their lives depended on it, which they will.

Access does NOT mean "to have" or purchase.

It is like a homeless person having great access to a new car on auto row in Los Angeles where there is 90 auto dealerships and 300,000 cars to choose from. He or she cant afford any of them, but he or she has great ACCESS.

Look, they are going to kill Americans, lots of Americans, and they are going to displace millions more.

They have been dreaming of doing this their whole lives. It is gonna happen. And what will fucking infuriate me is in 2018 so called progressives, many of them, will STILL vote 3rd party or not at all or DEMAND purity as in dividing the party.
