White House announces new theme weeks amid health care bill uncertainty

Source: Politico

PISCATAWAY TOWNSHIP, New Jersey -- With Republicans’ health care bill in jeopardy, the White House is once again turning to a series of unrelated themed weeks to organize President Donald Trump’s schedule.

Over the next three weeks, the White House will hold events pertaining to three vaguely defined themes: “Made in America,” “American Heroes” and “American Dreams.”

Administration officials bristled at the notion that the themed weeks could distract from the debate over repealing and replacing Obamacare, one of the president’s biggest policy priorities.

“Every day and every week, in a sense, is a health care week,” a senior administration official told reporters during a briefing here. “It’s something that enormous White House and administration resources have been devoted to since day one.”

2. Yeah, he's so engaged he hasn't read up on this issue at all, probably hasn't even read the bill.

He's 100% ignorant about healthcare, thinks that people in their 20's only pay $15month for insurance. That's just pure idiocy, but it's what he thinks is going on since he never had to pay anything personally. My daughter is 28 and her husband 29 and they pay $420 month for medical and dental coverage, not at all what PINO said is happening.

He may actually think it's still the 80's, that he's relevant. Which explains the wall; he thinks he just saw Escape from New York and thought it was a great idea.

"No koch agenda" week

Believers in America would welcome that. Stop the vile brothers from attempting to force their unwanted agenda on America.

So I guess if they decorate the office with banners and signs and decorations to remind him it's "America Week" or "Hawaiian Luau" week or "Build the Wall" week (with Pink Floyd blaring over the PA), the idea is he'll remain focused?
