Black Caucus leaders vote to remove Nebraska Democratic Party official after remarks about shooting

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Christopher Burbach

The Black Caucus of the Nebraska Democratic Party has voted to censure its chair, Chelsey Gentry-Tipton, for remarks she posted about the shooting of U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, according to the vice chair of the caucus.

Maurice Jones, the vice chair, said the caucus’ executive committee voted 3-0 at a meeting on Monday to censure Gentry-Tipton. Jones said the vote removes her as the chair.

Gentry-Tipton said the meeting was invalid because under the caucus’ bylaws, only the chairperson can call a meeting.

In a prepared statement, she said she has scheduled a meeting of the caucus for Sunday.

Among them, "Y is this so funny tho?"
And she never apologized either. Her defense is that the meeting wasnt valid?? Lame as hell.

of callous, uncaring pubs who are trying to take healthcare away from many tens of millions. Not the shooting itself and not the condition of Scalese.

She is a party official and should be sanctioned. She has to behave to a far higher standard than is set for DUers here. But since I'm just a DUer, I'll say their vicious willingness to cause millions to become destitute, suffer and die -- betraying their constituents for partisan reasons, not principle -- is incredibly beyond disgusting. And extremely not funny.

“Watching the congressman crying on live tv abt the trauma they experienced. Y is this so funny tho?”
“Hard to be empathetic towards those that have no empathy for us. The very people that push pro NRA legislation in efforts to pad their pockets with complete disregard for human life. Yeah, having a hard time feeling bad for them.”

Shes saying that its funny to her seeing them upset.
But yes, you can express your sentiments a you wish, since you're not a party official.
