Poll: Majority describe Trump as a 'bully' who 'says what he thinks'

Source: The Hill

A majority of likely American voters said President Trump is a "bully" who "says what he thinks", according to a new Fox News poll surveying how voters would describe him.

The Fox News poll, released Wednesday, shows that 90 percent of those polled would use the phrase "says what he thinks" to describe Trump, while 81 percent says this trait describes Trump "extremely" or "very" well.

The next closest descriptor Americans chose was "bully," which 73 percent of respondents said at least somewhat describes the president. They were less sure about this descriptor, but 53 percent said it "extremely" or "very" well described how Trump runs the White House.

There was other criticism in the poll as well: 44 percent of respondents said Trump was "very" or "extremely" unstable, while another 16 percent said he was "somewhat" unstable.

Fewer voters, about one-third, assign the clearly positive terms “competent” (35 percent), “strong leader” (35 percent), and “problem solver” (32 percent).

Three-in-10 say “knowledgeable” (31 percent), “honest” (30 percent), and “steady leader” (30 percent) define the president well.

Voters are least likely to call Trump “presidential” (25 percent), “moral leader” (25 percent), and “compassionate” (26 percent).

“For past presidents, the traits that correlate most powerfully with increased support are ‘strong leader’ and ‘compassionate,’” says Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News Poll with Democratic counterpart Chris Anderson.

C'mon, the lunatic is mindless. He has nothing to enable him to think. He's like an unstable insect, working on instinct alone.
