Congressman Raul Grijalva Arrested in Front of Trump Tower

Source: phoenixnewtimes.com

A DACA protest in front of Trump Tower reportedly turned ugly when Tucson congressman Raul Grijalva was arrested for civil disobedience.

Grijalva, who has been a vocal advocate for DACA recipients and openly criticized President Donald Trump's latest plans to dismantle the Obama-era DREAM Act, was part of a large demonstration in New York City this morning.

Reports came out through Grijalva's campaign account that the Arizona congressman was taken into custody along with New York Congressman Adriano Espaillat and Illinois Congressman Luis V. Guiterrez. Espaillat and Guiterrez have also been vocal supporters of the DREAM Act.

Viva Raúl Grijalva.

He has been a target many times by racist a-holes.

Hope he will be protected, and they will fail.

THIS is what "spine" looks like. And ONLY Hispanic gentlemen at that. Imagine these three fine folks taking away time from their usual work of calling "people" for generous donations.

Civil- a: of or relating to citizens civil duties

b: of or relating to the state or its citizenry

Disobedience- :refusal or neglect to obey

So they refused or neglected to obey the state or it's citizenry. It seems to me that would be a person's DUTY if they did not believe the state or it's citizenry was correct in it's described "duties".

This country is rapidly turning into a fascist state, and it's pissing me off!

The police are rapidly turning into storm troopers, and Trump is giving them carte blanch to treat people like garbage.

The removal of Trump from office can't come soon enough for me.
