President Trump on Saturday said the invitation is withdrawn for Stephen Curry to visit the White House because the NBA All-Star is hesitating.

All-Star Warriors guard Stephen Curry said this week he didnt want the team to visit the White House to celebrate their NBA championship title.
I dont want to go, Curry told reporters on Friday. He said in June he probably wouldnt go to the White House, and this week said he didnt think the team should go either. Managers said they will discuss the decision as a team in an open forum.
Curry said his reasons for not wanting to visit the White House were that we basically dont stand for what our president has said, and the things he hasnt said at the right time, according to SF Gate.

UPDATE:
Yes, Fox & Friends Covered Stephen Curry Minutes Before Trump Tweeted
by Josh Feldman | 10:48 am, September 23rd, 2017
President Trumps tweet withdrawing Stephen Currys White House invitation came minutes after Fox & Friends covered Curry this morning.
Yesterday Curry said he wouldnt go to the White House in response to a question about a team invite, and the President reacted with this:

Trump tweeted that out at 8:45 am ET. This was Fox & Friends roughly 20 minutes earlier:

And President Trumps tweeting in response to Fox & Friends segments is nothing new.

(9,895 posts)Fuck Trump and his bullshit, but if the weakness of being bullied into submission is displayed by a single member of the Warriors organization after this nonsense, they should all be rejected totally.

(36,669 posts)Yet if you are a coward pedophile conservative Trump loyalist like Ted Nugent who advocated killing the president and Hillary, you can get an invite to the republican White House.

Everything this scumbag stands for I detest, Even his hunting shows where he sneaks up on un-suspecting wildlife and kills them. Seems to me he could of used that talent in the military, But as we know deer don't shoot back.

How dare the president withdraw the invitation!
Athletes should be free to choose who they respect!

(1,402 posts)I am proud of Stephen Curry for taking a stand. DJT has no respect for anyone. Apparently, he was never taught in order to get respect you have to earn it. Stephen Curry has earned our respect. DJT HAS not!!

(1,336 posts)won the Stanley Cup while Obama was President, their goalie refused to go to the White House. Not a peep from Obama, who held the celebration with the rest of the team (half of whom were my fellow Canucks, natch!).
Bravo to Curry and, I'm sure, most of his team-mates who will also refuse the invitation. Especially now that Stephen has been "dis-invited".
Whoever said they can't believe Dolt45 could display any more petulant and childish behaviour -- just wait an hour or two.

Screw him and the faux gold chariot he rode in on.

(1,402 posts)Way to go...at last someone has some good 'ole' common sense. I love NBA basketball and am so proud of Stephen Curry for standing up to that horrible man. Why doesn't anyone else call DJT out? Everyone just goes along with whatever he says and apparently the people that don't speak up, must feel the same way DJT does!!

Maybe tweet something like, "this revolting and disgusting pathetic troll needs to shut his ridiculous mouth. He's a pathetic excuse for a human being and a disgrace to the country."
This person will be hailed a hero.
